After a chat about each other’s abilities, we learned that Matthew thinks Lynne has good ideas, while Lynne thinks Matthew is good at reading and spelling! This was proved wrong when Matthew didn't bother to read in the bagel shop and ordered according to what he saw someone else eating. Has anyone else ever spent $10 on a bagel?
Matthew was prepared when he got married that his bride would eventually turn into her mother; what he wasn't expecting was that she would turn into her father so quickly - having the ability to fall asleep every time she sits down!
Chinatown for dumplings, before completing some boring tasks, then heading back to get ready for the soiree at Chena's apartment.
What a fabulous evening! We met so many lovely people, getting some great advice about our travels. We also got into Al Pacino's lobby, before ending the evening in a fab bar at the top of a shopping mall! This is why seeing a city with a local is so much fun- we would never have seen these things otherwise. Thanks again Chena, your mother and all your friends!
